The new positions will support the growth of Spectrum Community Solutions, the part of the cable company that delivers wired and wireless broadband and video services to residents of apartments, off-campus student housing, senior living complexes, RV parks and marinas.

Workers at the call center provide support to the specialized customer group, which also includes managers and owners of the properties.

Interested candidates can apply at careers.spectrum.com or text REP to 97211 and follow the instructions to apply online.

People who apply online can also participate in an online chat event with Spectrum recruiters on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

“These Spectrum Community Solutions roles offer talented, hard-working local employees rich career-growth opportunities and enable us to provide the highest quality service to this unique, fast-growing customer segment,” said Dodie Murphy, vice president of customer services for Spectrum Community Solutions.

Pay for the jobs will start at $16.50 an hour, with a shift differential available to second-shift employees, Spectrum said. The positions are also eligible for commission earnings, health insurance, a company-matched 401(k) savings plan, and free and discounted spectrum services, according to the company.

Spectrum has committed to raising its minimum wage to $20 an hour in 2022.
