MASON, MI – If there’s one business that’s held strong during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s pizza.
Klavon’s Pizzeria and Pub is one of those businesses, to the point they are holding hiring for 10-15 positions for both their Jackson and Mason locations.
Jackson County’s popular pizza joint is holding a job fair at both its Jackson and Mason locations on Monday for a variety of positions, according to a company Facebook post. It goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 12.
The Mason chain is located at 318 W. Kipp Road, while the Jackson one is at 1361 E. McDevitt Ave.
The jobs available include pizzamaker, line or prep cook, server, barista, bartender, dishwasher, busser and host. Employees for these positions can earn up to $20 an hour with tips, the flyer states.
Applicants visiting both locations are asked to observe COVID-19 protective guidelines, such as wearing a mask and social distancing, said General Manager David Hawkins.
People interested may apply at klavons.com/careers.
Hawkins thanked Klavon’s customers for their support during the last few “tough months,” as well as the increased demand for pizza.
“We’re just really thankful for the community we have and the support from all of our guests,” he said. “Fortunately, we’re in the pizza business with a takeout window at each location that allows for safe and easy pickup.”
