India has made it to the top 50 countries in ‘Global Innovation Index 2020’ rankings released by UN World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), Cornell University, INSEAD along with their partners including the industry body CII. The GII ranks 131 economies based on 80 indicators, ranging from intellectual property filing rates to mobile-application creation, education spending and scientific and technical publications.
